Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) Solutions

Newpoint Gas has experience in all types of H2S scavengers including: liquids, solids, and catalyst. When picking the appropriate hydrogen sulfide scavenger, a wide variety of factors have to be taken into consideration, and each opportunity may require a completely different approach. Newpoint’s experience will ensure the best scavenger option has been chosen for the job.

Membrane Facilities

Gas treating membrane systems provide a safe and efficient option for carbon dioxide and water vapor removal from natural gas, especially in remote locations. Membrane systems are extremely adaptable to various gas volumes, CO2 concentrations, and/or product-gas specifications. A spiral wound cellulose acetate membrane unit offers the greatest efficiency per Mcf of product removed compared to any other competing CO2 removal system.

Oxygen (O2) Removal from Natural Gas

Newpoint Gas, Inc. worked closely with several organizations to develop our proprietary oxygen elimination process, X-O2™. Gas fields contaminated with oxygen exist around the world, the most common being landfill gas. Newpoint’s proprietary design has proven to be the most economical and reliable process available to remove this contaminate.

Arsenic Removal

Arsi-Guard™ is Newpoint’s proprietary catalyst based system for the removal of arsenic from natural gas. Arsi-Guard™ can reduce organic arsenic concentrations to below 1 ppb to eliminate environmental liability and improve primary catalyst performance in ammonia and LNG facilities.

Helium Purification from Natural Gas

Newpoint was the only new domestic helium purification supplier to come online in 2003. We produced 99.999% pure helium from natural gas on the Navajo Nation Reservation near Shiprock, New Mexico.
