Extreme temperatures did not hinder Durango, Colorado from becoming the site for the introduction of Membrane Treating Technologies provided by Newpoint Gas for the removal of CO2.

With an abundance of natural gas in the area, Durango, Colorado (Ignacio specifically) became the site designated for the introduction of Membrane Treating technologies provided by Newpoint Gas, LP. This innovative system has been the first of its type implemented in this region for the removal of CO2 from natural gas streams. With extreme temperature conditions at both ends of the thermometer, the Durango area production offered quite a challenge for the engineering staff at Newpoint. Undaunted by this obstacle of nature, Newpoint Gas, LP opted for installing the unitized plant inside a permanent structure. Given the regional difficulties this installation was successfully and efficiently completed to the customers satisfaction. As with all Newpoint projects, service after the sale remains at the top of their list of priorities.

CO2 in Big Piney, Wyoming was remedied by a newly manufactured amine plant provided by Newpoint Gas, LP.

Big Piney, Wyoming (population just under 500) is the scene of the latest Amine Plant delivery by Newpoint Gas. The foothills of the Ozark Mountains were unmarred by the delivery of two CO2 removal plants to Conway County, Arkansas.

Newpoint Gas, LP has come to Conway County, Arkansas in a big way setting two of its innovative unitized Amine plants in the pristine area that lies in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains. The surrounding beauty is unmarred, however, by these two new treating facilities which service the Co2 removal needs of Newpoint Gas customers in the area. Striving to engineer and build a gas treating plant that would meet and exceed their client’s expectations was a challenge in its own right, but supplying plants that were also non-intrusive to the environment was of great importance to the design and engineering staff. Using the latest technology, Newpoint Gas, LP has successfully brought on line the 25 Gpm Amine plant as well as its larger counterpart, the 60 Gpm Amine plant, to remove Co2 from natural gas produced in this area, giving the Producer a marketable product in an efficient mode of operation. Newpoint continues to be dedicated to the service of the natural gas industry while keeping in mind the needs of local areas and their natural environment.

Company Credo Promises:

Here at Newpoint Gas, LP we feel it is paramount to maintain credibility in the business community. While other corporations are chasing the dollar and greater profit margins, seemingly at any expense, we feel that profit and solvency is second to credibility in the natural gas treating industry. While this may sound like fanciful rhetoric, it is really the basis of any good business practice and should be adhered too by all those wanting to establish themselves with the community. Some business practices have caught the Nation’s and the media’s attention in the past few years. Given the recent atmosphere of prosecution and retribution created by these shady and even illegal activities, most companies are trying to create and spin new and better images of themselves. Newpoint Gas, LP has, and always will maintain the highest level of credibility and honesty. For this to be possible, each management officer and employee of Newpoint must practice this, not only in the work-place but also in their private lives and personal business dealings. While no one person or company can maintain perfection, they can achieve and maintain an honest reputation. With this in mind, we here at Newpoint Gas, LP vow to maintain the high level of credibility that we have worked so hard to build over the past seven years. Please feel free to visit our corporate offices at 100 Graham Road in College Station, Texas, and meet the management team and engineering staff that make credibility an industry standard.

Gob gas recovery in Carbon County, Utah has become the undeterred focus of Newpoint Gas, LP utilizing its proprietary oxygen removal process.

Newpoint Gas, LP has proven itself again in the natural gas industry, this time in the area of gob gas recovery. Unwilling to rest on their laurels with their unprecedented success in the Amine plant treating processes, Newpoint Gas has taken the high-road to innovation with their participation in the methane gas processing project going on in Carbon County, Utah. With compression and an oxygen plant in place, Newpoint has completed the first stage in its continuing effort to reclaim and purify an otherwise non-merchantable product. Despite harsh conditions on site, such as recorded low temperature extremes of -37 degrees, Newpoint remains focused on achieving the completion of stage two, which is the nitrogen rejection process…to further purify this gas stream being marketed down the line at Salt Lake City. This technology and process is not only enabling the mining industry to utilize otherwise lost fuel and revenues, but is also establishing Newpoint Gas, LP as a pro-active participant in the stewardship of our natural resources and environment.

Engineering Ingenuity" in the conservation of our environment remains our highest priority - Newpoint Gas, LP.

Much has been said lately in the popular media about our environment and the results of our care of it for future generations. While some of the information given has been just hype, there remains the true aspect of our responsibility for environmental stewardship. We here at Newpoint Gas, LP are committed to doing our part in preserving our natural resources and our environment: case in point….. Newpoint Gas is actively involved in the reclamation of land and materials in the gas fields of Texas and Arizona, as well as other states. While the “plant salvage” process is not uncommon in the oil and gas industry, Newpoint Gas, LP is committed to the remediation and restoration of once used plant sites. This process not only allows us to reclaim usable equipment and materials, but also gives us the chance to partner with companies and governing entities in the environmental stewardship process. While these projects can be very costly and time consuming, Newpoint feels that the benefits of this reclamation far outweighs the expenditures of time and resources….not that we are in the business of losing money….but that there are some things in this world that are more important than profit margins. Newpoint Gas, LP knows that fanciful rhetoric and even good intentions will not get the job done, but that our commitment to responsible operating in the Gas treating industry, along with our resolve to be partners in stewardship of our natural resources and the environment is the only path that is acceptable.

Two South Texas wells are "sellable" and "safe" after the installation of Newpoint's trade-marked "Skid-treat".

Newpoint Gas, LP recently had the opportunity to service two gas wells in the South Texas area with one of their tried and tested methods for sweetening natural gas streams. Utilizing the sulfa-treat method of contaminate removal, Newpoint was able to successfully reduce the H2S content of both wells, making their gas production sellable and safe. Newpoint Gas has aptly named their method of sulfa-treating for its unit packaging and accessibility. Their trade-marked logo of “Skid-treat” is appearing in more and more states where this method is a viable option. As with all of Newpoint Gas, LP treating methods, Skid-treat remains one of the standard-bearers of the industry.

Fully self-contained and portable were the objectives achieved with the shipment of a 1,000 MSCFD Trialkylarsine Removal Pilot Plant to be installed on an offshore platform in the Caribbean.

Newpoint Gas, LP is pleased to announce the shipment of a 1,000 mscfd Trialkylarsine Removal Pilot Plant. This plant is a skid mounted unit with an integral cage to protect it during shipping and is fully self-contained and portable. The plant will be installed on an offshore platform in the Caribbean for a major international gas company. The plant will be able to treat natural gas streams through 2 parallel trains of lead/lag treating vessels. These two trains allow two different treating scenarios to be tested simultaneously with arsenic concentration in excess of 500 ppb w/w at pressures up to 1440 psig. Each treating vessel has 22 sample ports which are tubed to a sampling manifold for ease of use. The results from this pilot plant will be used for verification of the design for the full scale plant that will treat 450 mmscfd.
