Zane Rhodes and Gary Trotter of OSO Oil and Gas Properties, LLC will be presenting their paper titled “Catalytic Oxygen Removal for the Aberdeen Coal Mine Methane Project in Carbon County, Utah” at this year’s 58th Annual Laurence Reid Gas Conditioning Conference. The conference will be held at the University of Oklahoma on February 24 – 27 2008. The paper will discuss the operational experience of oxygen removal plants installed in a coal mine methane project, as well as, the potential impact to non-traditional gas streams. This particular paper also documents the collaboration between OSO Oil and Gas Properties, LLC and Newpoint Gas, LP and their ability to work together to make their oxygen removal system a success and an integral part of its’ gas treating system.

This prestigious event will be held from March 2-5, 2008 in Grapevine, Texas. Company President, Zane Rhodes, will present his paper in collaboration with Gary Trotter of OSO Oil and Gas Properties, LLC titled, “Catalytic Oxygen Removal for the Aberdeen Coal Mine Methane Project in Carbon County, Utah” during the Technology to Improve Operations forum. This particular paper documents the collaboration between OSO Oil and Gas Properties, LLC and Newpoint Gas, LP and their ability to work together to make their oxygen removal system a success and an integral part of its’ gas treating system. Trey Brown, Newpoint’s Vice President of Process Engineering, will present his paper titled, “Gas Treating Technologies: Which Ones Should Be Used and Under What Conditions” during the Technical Facilities Design Forum. This insightful paper will focus on the different gas treatment options available and which ones are best suited for each aspect pertaining to gas impurities. “Get Your Job Out On Time, Keep Management Off Your Back and Be Home By 5 On Friday”, is the title chosen by Rhett Rhathbone and Michael Poteet, both of Newpoint, for their training session to be presented at Solid Works 2008
Rhett, Director of Engineering Design for Newpoint Gas, along with Michael will be presenting a training session on January 20-23 at Solid Works World 2008 in San Diego, California. Rhett brings with him nearly a decade of detailed design experience involving large scale industrial gas processing plants for applications around the globe. Michael is a mechanical engineer at Newpoint Gas and is a certified Solid Works Professional as well as having many other accreditations. Rhett and Michael’s presentation entitled,”Get Your Job Out On Time, Keep Management Off Your Back and Be Home By 5 On Friday”, will focus on piping weldments, mate references, smart components, large assemblies, and drawings. This presentation is sure to be a lively and insightful presentation.
